In England and Wales, it is illegal to sell vape products (including e-liquids or devices) to anyone under the age of 18. As our online sales are not face-to-face, we use 1account to confirm your age digitally.
When you place an order with us, you will be taken through to your order confirmation page. If you have not been age verified by 1account previously, a pop-up will appear that will ask you to enter your information in order for your identity to be confirmed.
With the current climate of data protection, we would like to make sure all of our customers are aware that we do not access or see any of this extra data, and can still only see what you have inputted into our website directly.
The information you provide to 1account will likely be one of the following;
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your name
- Your address
1account check this data against the Edited Electoral Register, mobile networks, KYC (Know Your Customer) API and their own Verified Userbase (assuming you already have a verified account with them.) Once you've been approved once, you should never need to be approved again, including on other sites that also use 1account Age Verification.
In the event that your age cannot be verified using your name, email address, phone number or billing address, you will be asked to verify your age but submitting details such as your date of birth, your driving license number or a credit or debit card number. Once you have been verified, your account will automatically be updated on our website to show that you are of legal age to purchase e-cigarette products, and you won't need to go through this process again if your purchase from us in the future.
Please note that orders cannot be processed or dispatched until you have been age verified. Any customers that have not completed this process will be directly contacted by a member of the team. In the event that a customer fails the age verification process and cannot provide a valid form of ID, your order will be cancelled and a full refund processed.
