IQOS Devices heat tobacco rather than burning tobacco, providing a heat-not-burn experience using real tobacco. IQOS Devices (including the IQOS Iluma) can heat up to 360 degrees!

How do IQOS Devices work?

IQOS Devices particularly the IQOS Iluma Kit use TEREA - real tobacco sticks designed to be heated in IQOS devices. TEREA are inserted into the holder. Then the tobacco stick makes contact with a ceramic-coated blade. Your IQOS Iluma device will now heat the blade (depicting a flashing light--once heated the light with glow solid). To use your IQOS device, simply inhale like a cigarette; by inhaling on the filter of your TEREA stick. Recreating the actions of smoking a cigarette. Once your TEREA stick experience is complete, remove the used stick and safely dispose of it. Your IQOS holder can be placed in your charger (portable charger!) ensuring its ready for the next use.
